🏁 20+ Hours of Marble Madness: Our Unexpected Marathon Recap!

What started as a standard day quickly turned into one of the most epic milestones in Travel Wives history! We just wrapped up an unexpected 20+ hour marathon of Marbles on Stream.

Why the marathon? We wanted to make sure our community had every possible chance to snag those Marble Day 242 Drops before the Thursday morning deadline. Between the constant !bloop commands, the physics-defying crashes, and the incredible late-night energy, we proved that this community truly has no "off" switch!

🛡️ Welcome to the Newest Followers!

One of the best parts of going live for nearly an entire day was meeting so many new faces. We had a massive influx new followers who jumped into the races and kept us awake with their support.

A huge welcome to our newest followers:

Thank you for joining the crew. We are so glad to have you in the ranks!

🏆 The Grand Finale: The Last Race Results

As the clock ticked toward the 11:59 AM deadline on Thursday, we held one final, high-stakes 10 minute race to close out the marathon. The competition was fierce as everyone scrambled for those final leaderboard spots.

Congratulations to our Marathon Finale Winners:

💤 Time for Some R&R (Real-life Relaxation)

After 20+ hours of digital marbles, we are officially ready for a nap! But if all that "virtual travel" through the marble tracks has you itching for a real-world escape, do not forget to reach out to Cameron Olson or Derek Dovolos at Olson Travel Group, Dream Vacations.

Whether you want to sleep on a cruise ship balcony or lounge on a beach in the Bahamas, Derek can help you book the "Rest and Recovery" trip of your dreams. No !bloop required!

Welcome to Travel Wives

We’re so glad you found us! We’re Kahla and Shannon, sisters-in-law who share one big thing in common… we’re both married to travel agents. And just to clear up the confusion right away, no, we aren’t married to each other! Our husbands, Cameron and Derek, are part of Olson Travel Group, Dream Vacations , and while they’re busy booking dream getaways for other people, we’re here to share what it’s really like living the “travel life.” What you’ll find here The trips we get to take (like our upcoming cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas ). The trips we wish we were on (because let’s be real, travel agents often book other people’s vacations while we stay home). The hilarious behind-the-scenes stories that don’t make it into the glossy brochures. Honest reviews, packing tips, and plenty of cocktails-and-carry-on moments. This blog is an extension of our new podcast, Travel Wives , where we chat about all things travel, family, and the ups and downs of being ...

Meet the Travel Wives + Our Next Big Cruise

What is it really like being married to a travel agent? Many people assume it means unlimited vacations, champagne on the beach, and spontaneous getaways. The truth is a little different. Being part of a family travel business comes with amazing perks, surprising challenges, and plenty of stories worth sharing. In this post, we are pulling back the curtain to share a little about who we are, the misconceptions we run into, and our excitement for an upcoming cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas . Along the way, we will talk about traveling gluten free with celiac disease and why that is always part of our travel planning process. 👋 Who We Are We are Shannon and Kahla, sisters-in-law and proud members of a family-run travel company. Our husbands book dream vacations for clients through Olson Travel Group , and we see firsthand what life looks like behind the scenes. The biggest misconception we run into is that we are traveling constantly. We wish that were true. While t...

Our Deep Dive Recap: Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas

The TravelWives are officially back on shore! We're Shannon and Kahla, and we're here to give you all the specific, must-know, sometimes-hilarious details about our sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation, amazing food, and learning a few cruise hacks along the way. Pre-Cruise Perfection: Hollywood Beach is a Must Let’s start with the non-negotiable step: the pre-cruise stay. Cruising out of Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) is easy, but you absolutely have to fly in the night before. Kathleen and Kahla arrived early and stayed right in Hollywood Beach, FL. Seriously, book it! The area is fantastic, the Broadwalk is a whole vibe, and you can practically taste the ocean air already. It’s the best way to kick off a vacation and avoid travel day stress. Hollywood Beach Fl for the win, every single time! The Good, The Gluten-Free, and The Great Service The ship's service was outstanding, especially when it came to dining: Gl...
